We are the Cornhusker Chapter of  Parents, Families and Friends of  Lesbians and Gays in Lincoln, Nebraska.

We, the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons, celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations, and gender identities. Only with respect, dignity and equality for all will we reach our full potential as human beings, individually and collectively. PFLAG welcomes the participation and support of all who share in, and hope to realize this vision.

PFLAG Welcomes New Regional Director

We're very happy to introduce Joni Stacy, PFLAG’s new Regional Director for the CentralRegion. The region is comprisedof Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, andNebraska. Regional Directorsare volunteers who live inthe region and are themselvesa member of a local chapter.She’s responsible for representing chapter/member perspectives to PFLAG National.

PFLAG Annual Chocolate Party  2010 !

 Mark your calendars.  The annual PFLAG chocolate party is December 4th. The event is our biggest fundraiser each year and is generously hosted by Jack Saltzman in his fabulous home.  Chocolate pastries, candies, and hors d’oeuvres are featured.

Our meetings provide  a safe, confidential space to share conerns, to get information and to get support.  Our meetings are attended by  parents, family, and friends of gays, lesbians, bisexual, and transgender persons, as well as  gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people themselves.  Our meetings are free and we welcome everyone.  
The PFLAG Cornhusker Board of Directors is responsible for PFLAG Meetings.  Each regular meeting has a topic and usually a guest speaker or panel.  Check our Calendar  for meeting dates, topics and speakers.
