Each year PFLAG recieves request from professional & communiy organizations, educational institutions, churches, and community groups for speakers and panels.   OutSpeaking is a collaborative speakers bureau, in which PFLAG-Cornhusker partners with UNL's LGBTQA Speakers Bureau, Citizens for Equal Protection and OUTLinc, to provide LGBTQA panels and educational programs for the Lincoln and surrounding community.  The Mission of OutSpeaking is to increase awareness and understanding of the LGBTQA community and LGBTQA issues by providing educational workshops and panels.

Become a Speaker
OutSpeaking provides training to those interested in being on panels,  or helping with a workshop.  If you would like to join OutSpeaking and  participate on panels, click here to send a message to the OutSpeaking Coordinator.

Request a Panel
Personal perspectives on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Ally experiences are shared by panalist. The goal of the panel is foster better understanding; those who have attended panels state that they were able to get common questions answered and found the panels to be a great way to break stereotypes and assumptions about LGBTQA issues.  Click here to inquire about a panel for your group or organization meeting.

Request a Workshop
OutSpeaking's "Creating Safer Spaces" Workshop helps participants learn ways to create and provide safe space for all individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expression. Learning is interactive, relaxed and informal; participants are encouraged to engage new ideas without shame while being challenged to remove the barriers that limit the success of others.    Click here to inquire about an OutSpeaking Workshop.
