On Monday, May 14th, the Lincoln, City Council voted 5 - 0 to pass the Fairness Ordinance.  Councilmen Adam Hornung and Jon Camp abstained from voting.  The Mayor signed the ordinance into law on May 14th at around 5pm.  The measure legally protects people from discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations in Lincoln based on gender identity or sexual orientation.
